A BEND IN THE RIVER LODGE & CABIN provide rare private lodging accommodations for midsize and larger groups, whether family gatherings, wedding parties, outdoor sports groups or small meetings. The Lodge offers room, privacy and meeting space in a bucolic 5-acre Chewuch riverside setting 4 miles outside of the Town of Winthrop. The Lodge and Cabin may be rented together or separately.

Enjoy a grand rural mountain setting within a short drive to Winthrop amenities including restaurants, cafes, grocery stores and charming independently owned shops in an Old West setting.

The lodge and cabin are located near two snowmobile parks and the Rendezvous cross-country ski trails, which also make for perfect hiking and mountain biking in the summer. A great destination for outdoor enthusiasts!

About the Lodge

The Lodge has 4 large bedrooms and one large sleeping loft, along with 6 bathrooms. Three of the bedrooms have baths en-suite, one bath is in a common hallway and the sleeping loft has two baths. The ground floor sleeps up to 15. The ground floor and loft together sleeps up to 30. The daylight basement can accommodate group dining or meetings.

The Lodge kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook a feast and serve a small army. The natural fiber, high quality bed & bath linens have been chosen to assure your comfort.

The Lodge is decorated with "found object" collectables, artwork & handsome furnishings to create a warm & inviting interior. A screened porch provides a relaxing place to view the surrounding undeveloped hills and river.

About the Cabin

The Cabin sits in a peaceful, private setting, steps from the river, overlooking the undeveloped hillside. It is shielded by a glade of cottonwood trees. A screened porch provides a relaxing place to view the outdoor surroundings.

There are 2 bedrooms and one full bath. Just as with the Lodge, natural fiber, high quality bed & bath linens have been chosen to assure your comfort and 'found object' collectables and artwork create a warm and inviting interior. The fully-equipped kitchen comes with everything you need to prepare a gourmet meal.

Cabin amenities include:

2008 Pricing

Lodge is $650/night during the week, $695/night on weekends, and $745/night on Holidays. Price includes up to 20 guests. Each additional guest is $25/night.

Just the main floor of the Lodge may be rented for $450/night during weekdays, $495/night on weekends, and $545/night on Holidays. Maximum of 15 guests.

The cabin is $175/night ($195/night on Holidays). Maximum of 5 guests.

Prices do not include sales and lodging taxes or pet fees.

2009 Pricing

Lodge is $725/night during the week, $765/night on weekends, and $825/night on Holidays. Price includes up to 20 guests. Each additional guest is $25/night.
